The optical disk CD / DVD / HD-DVD / Blu-ray
The optical disk, more commonly known as a CD, DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-ray disc is 12cm in diameter with one of its surface reflective. The reflecting surface has small cells that do not reflect the reading laser which provides a succession of bits.
On a CD, information is stored on 22,188 tracks burned in spirals, just like the old vinyl.
Our laboratory is able to retrieve all the information on an optical disk scratched or even broken.
