Quantum bought the storage division of Digital Equipment Corporation, giving the user a range of high quality disks called ProDrive.
Recovery of Quantum devices
In 2000 Quantum sold its division to Maxtor. Some of the models were maintained under Maxtor brand, but these disks are becoming rare.
